As per State Government directive, we will be open effective from Tuesday 12 January. Members will be asked to have a mask with them and be wearing it whilst indoors, and to practice social distancing.

The Centre is working to ensure the health and safety of all patrons and staff is maintained. We want to address the growing fears around the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and share with you the information we have at the current time.

We are working to ensure our centre remains a safe place to visit and work. The health and safety of our community is our main priority, we always uphold a high standard of hygiene within the centre, however are taking extra precautions during this time.

We hope you will do what you can to take care of yourself and those around you, we also encourage you to use and support our community facility with confidence while it is safe to do so.

Remember is you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of the flu, cough or cold to please remain away from the centre until you are feeling 100%.

Opening Hours remain the same

Monday - Thursday: 5:30am - 7pm
Friday: 5:30am – 6pm
Saturday: 6am - 5pm
Sunday: 8am - 5pm

Please carry a mask with you at all times. 

 

In line with revised QLD Government directives, all members and guests visiting our venue in the Greater Brisbane area must: 

  • Carry a mask with you at all times 

  • Wear a face mask covering the nose and mouth at all times when you are entering an indoor space 

  • You are not required to wear a mask if you are engaged in strenuous physical exercise; e.g:  exercise in or above the aerobic zone including high-intensity interval training, cycling, running. 

  • Exceptions to mask wearing are provided for children under 12 and people with medical conditions or disabilities

Update - 11/01/2021

The safety and wellbeing of our members and team members is our number one priority. 

In line with QLD Government directives, all members and guests visiting our venue in the Greater Brisbane area must wear a face covering. This will also apply to our team. There may be limited exceptions to this mandatory requirement such as medical conditions and children under 12 years.

QLD Health Advice 

You have to wear a mask at all times, including when exercising. You can remove your face mask when you leave your residence if you are: 

  • eating or drinking 

  • engaging in work that requires clear communication or visibility of your mouth, for example teaching and live broadcasting. 

  • directed to remove the face mask to ascertain identity. 

  • You don’t need to wear a mask while outdoors at a safe distance from other people or if you’re doing strenuous exercise [outdoors]. 

 

Exceptions to mask wearing are provided for children under 12 and people with medical conditions or disabilities. 

Rest assured, we will continue to operate with COVIDSafe initiatives and practices in place to provide a safe experience in our venue. This includes the use and provision of hand sanitiser stations, social distancing measures and revisions to our classes to cater for capacity restrictions.

Update - 08/01/2021

❗ IMPORTANT MEMBER UPDATE ❗    

As per State Government directive, we will be closed effective from 6pm tonight (Friday 8 January) until 6pm Monday 11 January.  

 

This period is subject to change in line with revisions from the state government.  

 

Due to this temporary closure, please read below what this will mean for you, our members and guests.    

 

By staying at home and limiting contact with other people, we can each help to protect the elderly, the at-risk, and healthcare workers and slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).   

 

Your Membership    

  • Your membership will be placed on a free suspension for the 3 day closure period.   

  • All future bookings you have made (for the closure period) will be cancelled.   

  • We will contact you once the advised temporary closure period concludes, or as directed by the Government.    

  • Watch for an email tomorrow with how to access our Home Fitness Network for FREE during the closure.   

 

Learn to Swim Fast Track 

The Learn to Swim fast track program will continue from Tuesday 12th to Friday 15th January unless advised by Qld Health that we are closed. This will continue as booked for these classes. We will contact you if there is a change to the running of this program.

Update - 18/12/2020

The State Government and health officials have imposed new border restrictions as a result of the growing  
coronavirus cluster in Sydney's Northern Beaches. Effective immediately (18.12.20) anyone travelling or 
travelled since Dec 11 from the NSW hotspot areas will need to be tested and self-isolate for two weeks. 
This includes visitors and residents returning home. 

For the health and safety of our guests and visitors we ask these restrictions to be followed. If you are  
feeling unwell or showing flu like symptoms to please get tested and not travel. If this impacts your plans or any planned visit to our venue, please contact our  staff to discuss your options.

Update 18/06/2020 10:00am

We’re thrilled to inform you that the Government has announced Phase 2 of eased restrictions.

We will be re-opening on Thursday 25th June.

This means you can again start to access the gym (including gym equipment)!

Due to the current restrictions, we will be opening with a change of operating hours & bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.

Our Centre is open for business!

We have been closely monitoring the escalating coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in our community and across the country.

We would like to reassure all of our members that our facilities follow the strictest hygiene standards and are still safe to visit unless otherwise advised. However, we are aware of the potential for an infection within our facility and would like to update you on the precautionary measures that we have taken within our facility.

We understand that some of these measures may be inconvenient, but they have been put in place to ensure that we are doing everything possible to proactively prevent an outbreak within our facility.

Please note that the measures listed below are being reviewed on a daily basis in conjunction with advice from the government and World Health Organisation.

Hygiene Action Plan

  • Signage in facilities displaying up-to-date health alerts, hygiene advice and other essential information
  • Please ensure that you wipe down all equipment thoroughly with a towel after using
  • Showering and washing prior to entering the pool
  • Please use hand-wash facilities in the bathroom

  • For anyone experiencing flu, cough and cold symptoms, we ask that you refrain from visiting the facility.
  • If you did visit the facility when you were unwell, we ask that you advise the facility manager by phone or email.

What are we doing to minimise health risks in-Centre?

The Centre will be vigilant in implementing infection control procedures including daily cleaning in accordance with normal protocols, the promotion of healthy hygiene habits and will make hand sanitiser available for staff and patrons to use while using the Centre.

Can I suspend my membership, given the current situation?

All swim school memberships, health and fitness memberships and visit passes can be put on free suspension, please contact the Centre team to manage this.

If I have or am undergoing a period of self-isolation, what happens to my membership?

If you are showing symptoms or have been recommended by a Health Professional to self isolate, you should be staying at home and minimising contact with others.  Please contact the Centre team to discuss managing your membership where you are uncertain of your options.
 

What happens to Swim School or Personal Training sessions I have booked?

If you have any Swim School lessons or Personal Training booked, please contact the Aquatics team or your Personal Trainer.

Are free trials and guest passes still available?

With our tightened control measures surrounding international visitations, free trials and guest passe will only be available to local residents. We ask that members, guests, and the general public wishing to access our clubs adhere to the health and travel declaration and practice good personal hygiene. If they feel unwell, they should not come to the club and instead, seek immediate medical attention. Keeping the gym safe is a collective effort from members, their guest and us.

Are casual passes still available for purchase?

With our tightened control measures surrounding international visitations, day passes will only be available to local residents.
