Learn2Swim Week
Drowning is the number one cause of accidental death in children under five, with swimming pools the most common location for toddler drownings. Learn2Swim Week aims to introduce water safety to kids under five and ultimately reduce drowning fatalities.
Join us between 25 September – 4 October 2021 where children under 5 will get the chance to learn lifesaving swimming and water safety skills through a FREE swimming lesson during the week-long event.
Tragically, we know that children aged 0-4 years are at the highest risk of both fatal and non-fatal drowning each year. The ability to swim is one of the most important factors in helping to reducing the risk of childhood drowning, water familarisation, swimming skills and educating children to respect and understand the water will help us reach or goal of zero drowning.
The sooner you can introduce your child to water familiarisation and swimming lessons the safety they will be.
